Sony's 'PlayStation Games & Apps Challenge 2012 in Asia' Begins Today!

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) Asia has begun its “PlayStation Games & Apps Challenge 2012” (PS GAC2012) in the Asian region, providing participants with an opportunity to get involved and engaged with the PlayStation experience.

The competition is open to both PlayStation fans and developers to participate and share the game and application ideas for future releases on the PlayStation platform. Eager participants have until August 31, 2012 to register and will be notified within September 10-14, 2012 in regards of the submission process.

There are two categories that participants can compete in: the PlayStation Vita Category and the PlayStation Mobile Category. The prizes for the PlayStation Vita Category include two cash Grand Prizes worth US$5,000 each and five Special Award prizes worth US$500 each. For the PlayStation Mobile Category, up to four Grand Prizes worth US$1,000 each are available.
