Sony Launches its VAIO S Series and T Series Ivy Bridge Notebooks
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Earlier today, Sony announced two new VAIO series notebooks: the VAIO S Series and VAIO T Series, which will be joining its VAIO family of portable computing devices.

VAIO S Series

This lightweight notebook comes packed with 3rd Generation Intel Core i7 processors (Ivy Bridge) and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE graphics card, which is built on Kepler architecture. In order to prolong the battery performance, the new VAIO S also comes paired with NVIDIA Optimus technology.
The VAIO S Series is already available and comes in Carbon Black, Black, White and Pink with a recommended retail price of RM3,299.
VAIO T Series

Hailed as the successor to Sony’s first Ultrabook, the VAIO T Series comes in both an 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch form factor, depending on customer preference and the unit also packs the latest Ivy Bridge processors. The VAIO T Series also has an integrated hybrid drive composed of a HDD and an SSD (solid-state drive) which gives users an incredible boot up time thanks to the SSD and more storage capacity via the HDD.
The VAIO T Series is already in Malaysian stores with a recommended retail price starting from RM2,899.
Like the VAIO E Series that Sony launched a few weeks back, these new offerings also come packed with xLOUD and Clear Phase, Exmor for PC and even Gesture Control technologies to add to their arsenal.
