Sharp Goes From Bigger to Biggest with 90-inch LED TV
It looks like size really does matter as Sharp has just launched its latest 90-inch LED TV, which they are calling the Sharp AQUOS 90-inch (LC-90LE740X).
This new massive 90-inch LC90LE740X TV will join Sharp’s line of large HDTVs including the 60-inch, 70-inch and 80-inch variants, truly emphasizing the ‘From Bigger to Biggest’ tagline. Hailed as the largest display currently in its category, the new Sharp TV also comes packed with advanced Sharp technology in the fabrication of 10th generation mother glass substrates. Despite being the largest in its category, the Sharp AQUOS 90-inch has more going for it than just its size. This LED TV also comes with a Full HD 3D panel and even LED Net TV capabilities.
In conjunction with the launch, Sharp also took this opportunity to announce that despite what the string of articles and speculation on Sharp Corporation Japan may say, in Malaysia, Sharp is still standing strong and performing well. They report that they have managed to hit their sales target for the first half of the 2012 fiscal year.
“The Sharp AQUOS 90-inch compliments the big AQUOS lineup together with the 60-inch, 70-inch, and 80-inch. The expansion of Big AQUOS lineup can only be materialized by Sharp, because we have the capability to produce bigger size panels. However, it is all up to the market and the industry in demanding for further bigger size panels in the future,” concluded Hiroyuki Nuizato, Managing Director of Sharp-Roxy Sales & Services Company.
The Sharp AQUOS 90-inch will be available starting January 2013 at a retail price of RM68,888.
