Samsung NX300 Combines Performance and Convenience
Samsung held a small media preview of the NX300, its new flagship compact system camera (CSC). Featuring the NX 45mm F1.8 2D/3D lens, one of the first one-lens 3D systems available to consumers, this allows the NX300 to capture both stills and full HD movies in 3D quality.
Utilizing Samsung's unique in-house developed DRIMe IV imaging engine, the NX300 provides great speed and image quality, thanks to its improved color reproduction and noise reduction. With its new 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, the NX300 can capture stellar pictures in any lighting conditions. Specifications include an ISO range of 100-25600, a Hybrid Auto Focus, as well as 1/6000 sec shutter speed and 8.6fps continuous shooting mode. The NX300 is compatible with Samsung's range of NX lenses and other professional standard accessories.
Among the special features that the NX300 has is its Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows users to share their cherished photos instantly and securely between their camera and mobile devices via Samsung's SMART CAMERA App. In addition, the NX300's enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity lets users share images with friends and family directly from the camera through social networking sites, thanks to the camera's one-touch Direct Link hot key, or via automatic backup to the AllShare Play cloud service.
The Samsung NX300 will retail at an RRP of RM2,699 and will be available from April 8, 2013.
