Samsung GALAXY Note 8.0 (16GB, Wi-Fi) Priced Between €450 to €480?
We already know that the upcoming GALAXY Note 8.0 will definitely make its appearance at Mobile World Congress - that has pretty much been confirmed by Samsung's mobile chief JK Shin. Some details about the device have been left out of course, including pricing and availability. However, recent reports have given us an indication of what to expect price-wise, and from the initial looks of it, the new GALAXY Note 8.0 tablet doesn't seem to be that affordable.
Unwired View - "Some Austrian online retailers have already listed the Wi-Fi-only Note 8.0, and thankfully decided to attach prices too. The version with 16 GB of built-in storage goes for between €450 to €480, with the latter probably being the ‘recommended price’ from Samsung. If you need some more storage, then you’ll be able to pick up a 32 GB model for anywhere between €490 to €550."
Just to recap, the GALAXY Note 8.0 has been alleged to come with the following specs:
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
- 8-inch Super Clear LCD display / 1280 x 800 pixels
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB or 32GB internal storage (microSD support up to 32GB)
- 5-megapixel rear camera / 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
- S Pen
- 211.3 x 136.3 x 7.95mm
The online retailers have also pointed to a release date (February 19) for both units, which is about a week before MWC itself. This however, goes against the proposed official timeline. We doubt that the device would retail before its official announcement but we aren't ruling any possibilities out either until Samsung steps forward to debunk the allegation.
