Pokémon GO will finally add mass transfer feature
We’ve heard that Niantic is giving Pokémon GO 100 more critters from the Johto region / second generation, whichever works for you (technically only 94 since Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh and Celebi are Legendaries and won’t appear until there’s a special event for them). There’s word going about that Niantic will reveal more details on that on December 12 too. Before that though, it looks like we’ll be getting a way to send Pokémon to the candy grindhouse en masse.
The update is said to drop either today or tomorrow, and we’re seeing the latter as the greater possibility (we checked for updates on our Pokémon GO before writing this). You’ll now be able to hold down on a Pokémon, tap on a few others and send them to Professor Willow for other Pokémon of yours to get their regular cannibalistic, diabetic fest. Much like the process where you delete unwanted files from your phone, if you will.
In all honesty though, it’s a wonder why it’s taking Niantic so long to implement this, considering the nature of the game. When you’re made to endless catch the same number of Pokémon countless times and send the vast majority of them to the grindhouse (because that’s a more PETA-friendly way of powering Pokémon up, instead of using them to beat up other Pokémon into submission, in Niantic’s mind), it’s a tad odd that the process is made so deliberately time consuming, especially when Niantic wants that time to be used wandering around aimlessly until you see a Pokémon.
In the meantime – and immediately after, if we’re honest – we’ll just be playing Pokémon Sun and Moon. Do catch our review in the January 2017 issue of HWM Malaysia.
