Pizza Hut Malaysia is celebrating its 35th anniversary in a big way. On May 5, the pizza chain rolled out its newly revamped website, designed to make online order and payment as easy as possible. There are also plans to launch a companion mobile app for customers to get great pizza from the convenience of their mobile devices. Currently in its testing phase, the app is expected to be rolled out in the next three months.

On the restaurants' front, Pizza Hut has refurbished the Pavilion Elite dine-in outlet, with plans to upgrade a total of 100 restaurants before the end of the year. At the time of writing, 50 such outlets have already been refurbished to reflect the new brand identity and dine-in experience, including the 391st outlet in Sunway Velocity Mall. A total of 221 outlets are dine-in restaurants.

In conjunction with the milestone, Pizza Hut is launching a 35 Bites Challenge campaign, where customers can film themselves finishing a large pizza in 35 bites within five minutes and post the Facebook Live video on social media. Those who succeed will be rewarded with a complimentary large pizza.
