Photos of HTC M7 Leaked, Reveals Sense 5 UI
*Update as of 7/2/2012 7.30 pm: More alleged images of the HTC M7 surfaced online. The device is seen sporting a polycarbonate chassis with Beats Audio amplifier.
HTC's upcoming flagship phone, the M7 is slated to make its official debut at MWC 2013. However, Android Police got a jump on HTC when a tipster provided the site with two clear images of the M7 and some screenshots of the new Sense user interface running on the device.
The Home and Multitasking navigation buttons seem to have switched positions, and we are certain that loyal HTC users will find this change annoying as previous HTC devices always have the buttons in this arrangement: Back, Home and Multitasking.
A rear shot of the M7 reveals a design similar to the HTC One X+ and Butterfly devices, with the camera flash on the left of the lens and the Beats Audio logo above the speaker.
The new HTC interface, also known as Sense 5, appears to take on a very different look from previous Sense interfaces. For example, the signature HTC clock widget does away with the fanciful animations and adopts a more subtle, vector-based look. The designs of the widgets also resembles the Live Tiles of Windows Phone with their rectangular shapes.
The HTC M7 was initially rumored for release at CES 2013, but there was no announcements made. Therefore, it is highly likely that HTC will launch the M7 device at MWC 2013. Here's a quick recap of its alleged specs:
