Ninetology Releases New Outlook Pure Tablet with Clixster Mobile

There's a new affordable tablet in town, and it's from Ninetology. Earlier last week, the mobile device technology company launched its latest tablet, the Outlook Pure, in collaboration with the local telco, Clixster Mobile.

The launch of the new tablet was hosted by ANGKASA, the government body for cooperative organization, who is also a client of the telco. Held in an auditorium, the event kicked off with and opening speech by Che Puan Azrinaz Mazhar Hakim, Director at Clixster Mobile Sdn Bhd.

“We are proud to be a partner of ANGKASA and Ninetology and to be here today for the launch of their latest tablet, the Outlook Pure,” said Puan Azrinaz “This launch marks the beginning of a program aimed at educating the younger generation as well as to sharpen their skills in the field of technology.”

The Outlook Pure is a tablet which uses the 7-inch form factor and sports a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and runs on Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The Outlook Pure will also come bundled together with a 3G mobile line from Clixster.

“One of the reasons behind our decision to work together with Clixster Mobile is due to the realization of a growing and demanding market for smart device with high-speed connectivity,” Sean Ng, Chief Executive Officer, Ninetology commented. “We are committed towards ensuring that all Malaysian consumers can afford mobile internet, so that they may keep in touch with the digital world regardless of where they are.”

The Outlook Pure will be available to the public in June at all Ninetology and Clixster Mobile outlets around the country and will be sold at a retail price of RM599. The tablet is also applicable for Pakej Komunikasi Belia (PKB) rebate.
