Nikon Refreshes Mirrorless Line With J2
Earlier in the week, Nikon launched two new camera additions to their ever-expanding line of products. The first of which is a new mirrorless interchangeable lens camera called the Nikon 1 J2 and the other is the COOLPIX L610.

Nikon 1 J2

Built as the latest addition to the Nikon 1 J series, this mirrorless offering comes in six different color variants and a new Creative mode has been added to the four original shooting modes. In addition to this, the unit can now be toggled on or off using the retractable lens barrel button on applicable lenses. The display has also been upgraded to feature a high-resolution, 921k-dot LCD monitor.
Equipped with a high-speed AF CMOS sensor, the J2 also comes with the new EXPEED 3 processor for superior high-speed image processing.
In conjunction with the launch, Nikon is also launching a new CX-format lens 1 NIKKOR 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 2.5x standard zoom lens which will be bundled with the J2. This new lens is smaller and even lighter than its predecessor.
Nikon COOLPIX L610

Say hello to a brand new 14x zoom camera with Nikon’s latest COOLPIX L610. Built for users looking to have a bit of fun with photography, the unit still comes with a 16MP backside illumination CMOS sensor which boasts features for low light photography as well.
Built with an extremely compact body, this unit also offers Easy Auto modes, four special effects and five different creative filters, so you can get artistic with normally mundane photos.
