MyIX Unveils Newly Revamped Website

Malaysia’s sole Internet Exchange operator, MyIX – also known as Persatuan Pengendali Internet Malaysia – has recently announced the launch of its freshly overhauled website, www.myix.my. According to MyIX Chairman Chiew Kok Hin, the revamped website is part of the non-profit organization’s effort to boost ISP memberships, as well as allow visitors to gain a comprehensive understanding of MyIX's services and operations.

“This site has a fresh feel which I think appeals to our growing number of ISP members,” said Chiew. “This step is taken by MyIX to build better relationship with our existing members by making the site interactive and at the same time give our loyalist members what they have come to expect.”

Designed over a period of two to three months, the website has been revamped for a more fun, minimalistic appeal as part of MyIX’s growth strategy to encourage the sign-ups of more ISPs and content providers, as well as promoting broadband across the country. In line with this strategy, MyIX has also recently added four new members to its site, including Tune Music Sdn Bhd, VADS Berhad, BigBand Sdn Bhd and Tg Agas Technology Sdn Bhd.

Users already using MyIX will find that the website offers a brand new multimedia experience comprising animated stills and a photo gallery. Even more user-friendly than before, the website also features an interface that allows them to download reports, meeting minutes, access traffic statistics and the network monitoring system, as well as catch up on the latest updates.
