More Photos of Huawei Ascend D2 Leaked
Huawei is sure taking the little time that's left before CES 2013 to drum up more publicity about its upcoming phablet device. Spotted in the wild once again is the 5-inch Huawei Ascend D2, a device that will make its appearance at the annual trade show. First unveiled in China at the end of October, the device sets to impress with a 5-inch screen (1080p), Huawei's own quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and a huge 3,000mAh battery.
These leaked photos offer a closer look at the upcoming flagship model. If you are already aware of the products in the market, you will be able to discern some similarities - including, according to Android Authority "a metal band along the edges of the device complete with billet drilled speaker on the bottom" that's similar to the iPhone design. Of course, it also takes some from the other prominent smartphone competitors, including a familiar camera bulge, one that's first found on the HTC One X. Here's hoping that these design elements will not set Huawei up for a big lawsuit, given its promising venture into the next-gen phablet device arena.
