Kingston: Do You Have the Skills to Make It to CES 2014?
Kingston today announced that it will hold an international HyperX DotA 2 and Overclocking competition, with each contest finals being held at the 2014 International CES in Las Vegas.
The HyperX DotA 2 League tournament, which begins later this month, will see 16 teams competing for a total of US$50,000 in prize money. An additional US$40,000 will be given to sponsor travel and lodging for the top four teams for their final showdown in Las Vegas.
From October 7, a four-week long open qualifying competition will be held for the overclocking contest. Contestants will compete to post the highest benchmarks for Maximum Memory Frequency, Super PI and Intel XTU and winners will be determined weekly with the five final contestants competing in January 2014 during CES. For the finals, components will be supplied by Kingston and its partners: ASUS, Cooler Master and Intel.
