iPhone and iPad Prototypes Surfaced During the Apple and Samsung Trial
More leaked court documents have surfaced during the very public Apple vs Samsung legal spat. A few days ago, we saw documents that showed leaked Samsung WP8 devices and yesterday, others revealed that Samsung has allegedly been working on a "P10" tablet that would feature a 256 ppi, 11.8-inch 2560 x 1600 super high resolution Retina-like display and LTE connectivity. This time, it's Apple's turn to shine as almost 40 iPhone and iPad prototypes were revealed during the trial as Apple designer, Christopher Stringer, took to the stand as its first witness.
The Verge - "In the course of his testimony about Apple's design process, he showed dozens of rejected iPhone and iPad designs — including some he actually showed in person. They give us yet another look at Apple's design process and reveal a bit about how the company forms its design aesthetic. Some of the newly revealed phones do appear to have more in common with Sony's design aesthetic than Apple's, for example "Apple Proto 87" goes for a flat, black metallic look with all the major buttons and ports on the side of the device."
