Intel Shares its Vision for 2012

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - The demand for secure mobile computing and connectivity remains on an exponential growth and Intel will be addressing these issues in 2012.

The eye-popping explosion of data is expected to continue, leaving companies and individuals searching for simple ways to store, manage and access this flood of information. Intel will unfold more cloud computing solutions with the growing demand for 'big data' in businesses. One of the first few steps was the recently released Microsoft Office 365 and Intel will continue on the path of providing online software solutions.

The Ultrabook devices will arrive in three phases over the next three years, with each adding more must-have features like touchscreens, longer battery life and thinner designs to deliver an increasingly no-compromise, most complete and satisfying experience. The Ultrabooks will be featuring 3rd Gen Intel Core Family (codenamed Chief River) that emphasize on an 'Ultra-thin, Ultra-responsive, Ultra-secure' design.

Following the roadmap of the Intel Atom Processor platform development, the introduction of Medfield 32nm Single Chip SOC with 1080p content and HDMI support in smartphones and tablets will be due for the first half of 2012.
