“We have been looking forward to the launch of the PG7 building for awhile now and I am glad to note that our wait has finally been rewarded with a brand new workspace where the Intel family can come together to continue the great work we’ve been doing since our establishment here in 1972. Intel is investing in our work environment to make it more effective, efficient, productive, and enjoyable. Some of the many benefits of this new office design include flexible work areas, more conference rooms, and areas to encourage creativity and collaboration. Of course, the launch of Intel PG7 is a symbol of Intel’s continued commitment to Malaysia and represents our continuing investment into the Malaysian economy,” said Robin Martin, Managing Director Intel Malaysia.

Intel's new Corporate Office Standard allows offices to use the latest technologies from Intel to increase collaboration and communication between employees as well as to improve the utilization of Intel's office assets.

Also present to officiate the opening ceremony was Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. In his speech, he mentioned that Intel Malaysia is spearheading an innovation-based economy and its new office demonstrates their commitment to transforming Malaysia's economy.
