Huawei Receives Multiple Awards at Asia Communication Awards

Huawei announced that it has received the Vendor of the Year and Green Technology Awards, while Ken Hu, Deputy Chairman, Huawei received the CEO of the Year Award at the 2012 Asia Communication Awards.

“We are honored to receive these prestigious awards. This recognition is a testament to Huawei’s customer-centric culture and approach towards business and innovation. We will continue to work hard to bring more innovative products and solutions to the ICT industry,” said Jeff Liu, South Pacific President, Huawei.

Huawei received the Vendor of the Year award, thanks to its business throughout Asia Pacific and around the world, in particular, numerous successful Asia-Pacific contracts, as well as their ability to develop and offer innovative services.

Besides that, Huawei also received the Green Technology award for its Mini-shelter mobile site solution, an eco-friendly integration of outdoor power systems that reduces power consumption and carbon footprint. The Mini-shelter is easy to install, as it is programmed to adapt to a wide range of scenarios and requirements and uses a rectifier that generates an efficiency rate of 96.8 percent. Due to its energy-saving features, this solution has been favored by operators throughout Asia's emerging markets.
