HP Refreshes Enterprise Printing Solutions With New Remote Management Features and More

Just a few days ago, HP invited members of the media from all over South East Asia to join them in Singapore as they unveiled their latest portfolio of Enterprise Printing solutions, which include a few new Remote Management features along with new printing devices that bring a new level of efficiency to everyday productivity.

“Enterprise businesses are looking for ways to reduce cost and improve business efficiencies,” said Jesus Varela, Vice President & General Manager, Managed Services, Printing and Personal Systems, Asia Pacific and Japan, HP. “HP has enhanced its print offerings across services, devices and solutions for enterprises who can benefit from HP’s proven expertise in optimizing infrastructure, managing print environments and improving workflow.”

When it comes to managed print services, HP has always applied their tried and tested strategy of optimizing the infrastructure, managing the environment and improving workflow to give their customers the fastest return on investment possible.

The new Managed Service offers remote management of devices which detects internal errors before they happen and send out notifications to maintenance before there is any downtime in addition to the existing feature where the printer automatically sends notices to the channel partners in Malaysia to restock the consumables.

During this event, HP also unveiled two new printers including the HP Officejet Pro X and HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP solutions. These printers not only bring a high level of printing performance to the workplace, but also foster better productivity with the following features:

  • HP ePrint Enterprise will allow employees to print material directly from their mobile devices efficiently and more importantly securely.
  • HP Capture & Route is a feature which will allow users to scan documents and re-route them to a host of different locations instead of the conventional scan to email.
  • HP Access Control will allow an enterprise to have full control over the printing of documents by employees. By allowing customization of restrictions on print functions, enterprises will have a heightened level of print security.

The previously mentioned HP Officejet Pro X printers are notably impressive as the device is optimized to match the high standards of printing in a large enterprise environment. Apart from being able to print a whopping 2x faster than the conventional color laser printers in its class, it also does this at half the cost. HP comments that the idea of their Officejet Pro X is not to replace their LaserJet offerings but rather offer their consumers a wider array of choices.
