Hardcore Gaming with ASUS
ASUS Malaysia today unleashed two systems that are developed for two entirely different target markets. The first system is the ASUS ROG TYTAN CG8890, a hardcore gaming system that pushes the limit of performance. The other system is ASUS’ first All-In-One system, the E2300INTI.
The TYTAN CG8890 is equipped to the teeth with some of the most advanced components money can buy today. Here’s a breakdown of the components you’ll find in the TYTAN CG8890:
- Intel Core i7-3960X
- ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX690 4GB
- 16GB 2133MHz RAM
- 2TB 7200RPM HDD, 128GB SSD
- ASUS ROG Xonar Phoebus Sound Card
- Liquid + Air Cooling System
As the most powerful systems ASUS has to offer, the TYTAN CG8890 is fully equipped to handle any game. Among the highlights of this system is the Turbo Gear system, whereby users can instantly overclock all six cores of the Intel Core-i7 3960X to a maximum of 4.2GHz. Also integrated into the TYTAN CG8890 is the ASUS ROG Xonar Phoebus sound card, which provides a signal-to-noise ratio of 118dB, offering gamers nothing but the best audio quality.
We had the opportunity to take this system for a spin at the event, and we’re definitely impressed with what this system can do. With all graphics effects enabled, Full HD resolution, and anti aliasing turned all the way up, the game ran at an incredible average of 80 frames per second! There’s no doubt that this is something that gamers will find drool-worthy.
On the other end of the spectrum, ASUS launched its first All-In-One PC, the ET2300INTI. A system with a 23-inch multi-touch IPS display, the ET2300INTI is designed for individuals seeking convenience and an everyday computer. Here’s a closer look at the specifications of this system:
- Intel Core i5-3330

- 6GB 1600MHz RAM

During our brief time with the ET2300INTI, we found that this system is a great multimedia system that is definitely made for Windows 8. The Sonic Master audio provides decent audio quality, making the ET2300INTI a seemingly solid choice for anyone looking to get their hands on a touch-capable system running on Windows 8.
The ASUS ROG TYTAN CG8890 retails for RM15,999, while the ASUS ET2300INTI retails for RM4,049. Both come preloaded with Microsoft Windows 8.
