GoPro decreases workforce again, this time by 270 individuals
Despite embarking on a company-wide restructuring plan last December, GoPro continues to face headwinds.
While revenue for Q1 2017 is likely to hit the high end of guidance, GoPro announced that it will be laying off another 270 employees. According to Forbes, some staff in satellite offices have been notified of their terminations. Its sources also claim that the layoff will affect all divisions including public relations, marketing and sales.
For now, GoPro is said to be focusing its efforts on the lineup of action cameras and the Karma drone. The Karma drone went back on sale in the U.S last month after it was recalled in November due to incidents of power failure during operation.
