FUJIFILM announces its 'Shoot. Print. Share' photo exhibition
FUJIFILM has announced its upcoming 'Shoot. Print. Share.' photo exhibition. Based on the theme 'My Malaysia Memory' , the photo exhibition is a chance for citizens to exercise their creativity through photography, while capturing the beauty of Malaysia in their photos. The exhibition will feature 3,000 photos and will be held from November 13 to 19 at Sunway Pyramid.
Yoshitaka Nakamura, Managing Director, FUJIFILM Malaysia, says that the exhibition is not a contest, and that everyone can participate. He mentions that the inspiration for the photo exhibition was the growing interest of millennials in photo prints. Participants are free to use any type of device to capture their images.
To further encourage public interest in photo printing, the best 100 photos from the exhibition will be shortlisted and the creators behind the photographs will receive a token of appreciation. To take part, consumers would have to purchase a photo board from any FUJIFILM Malaysia collection centers and mount their chosen image on it. The deadline for photo submission is on October 17.
On top of that, FUJIFILM also introduced its new instax Minion 8 camera, which is priced at RM458. The camera will be available in stores from September onwards.
