Corsair launches new high performance Vengeance LED DDR4 RAM
This year is the year where almost all PC components have gone RGB crazy. Manufacturers and makers of components such as motherboards and RAM memory modules have begun making their products literally light up with bright LED lights that glow, pulsate, and flash the colors of the rainbow as the respective components perform their respective task.
Corsair recently jumped on to that same bandwagon for the RAM side of things, announcing their new Vengeance LED DDR4 Performance RAM. Unveiled earlier this year at COMPUTEX 2016, the modules are designed to work with the latest Intel X99 and Z170 series motherboards, and are available in two colors: red and white.
Each set of RAM comprises of four sticks, and true to their form, these high performance memory modules are capable of running at breakneck frequencies of up to 4,333MHz. Keeping them cool are Corsair’s Vengeance signature heat spreaders, which are designed to enable rapid heat dissipation. Additionally, each kit of RAM is fully XMP 2.0 compatible.
The Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 RAM is available beginning today, and will come with frequencies ranging from 2,666MHz to 4,333MHz. They will be available in the following kit options:
- 16GB – 2 x 8GB
- 32GB – 4 x 8GB / 2 x 16GB
- 64GB – 4 x 16GB
All of Corsair’s RAM modules come with a lifetime DRAM warranty.
