Canon Marketing Malaysia Receives Accolades at Multiple Ceremonies

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The first half of 2012 has been a great one for Canon Marketing Malaysia as the company attained multiple awards that solidify its status as one of the most preferred brands with quality innovations.

During the Putra Brand Awards 2012, Canon was one of the top local and international brands that was awarded the gold and bronze medal for the 'Information Technology and Office & Business Equipment' and the 'Personal, Household & Outdoor Appliances' categories respectively. The Putra Brand Awards is currently the only brand award in the country that is endorsed by MATRADE and is a significant award as the winners are chosen by 6,000 Malaysian consumers who vote for their most preferred brand.

Other than the Putra Brand Awards, Canon also achieved top honors at the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands Awards. Canon was awarded the Gold award in Asia and the Platinum award in Malaysia of the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands Awards 2012 for the Consumer Electronics, Camera category. This marks the twelfth consecutive year Canon has won this award.

Finally, Canon also received six Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Awards 2012 – Europe's leading photo imaging and press association and one of the most coveted photo and imaging awards worldwide. Comprised of editors from leading photography titles around the world, the TIPA editors vote for the best photo and imaging produced introduced to the market in the last 12 months.

The 22nd TIPA Awards 2012 acknowledged the quality present across Canon's wide portfolio. Part of the awards given to Canon includes:-
