Canon Launches Five New Printers for SOHO Users

Just earlier today, Canon Marketing Malaysia invited members of the media to the Hotel Ascott in Kuala Lumpur to witness the launch of five brand new printers targeted at SMB and even SOHO users including four from the PIXMA line and one from the ImageCLASS line of printers.

During the launch, Donny Ling, Director of Consumer System Products Division, Canon Marketing Malaysia was present to deliver his opening speech. “Efficiency is of the utmost importance of any business operation and especially so in a home office business environment. With that in mind, the printers launched today are designed to be the perfect home office companion that comes with an easy operation design, faxing capabilities, with fax security features and PIXMA Cloud Link capabilities that will assist in securing efficiency and quality printing for all projects.”

The five new printers that were launched today include:

• PIXMA E600 – This is Canon’s flagship model for the SOHO market, which offers the convenience of an ADF and even fax security features. Furthermore, the unit also boasts a large ink tank, which is located at the front for quick and easy replacement of inks.
• PIXMA MX897 – This printer is incredibly easy to use and comes with a 3.0” LCD along with a Dual Function Panel (DFP) that has large and easy-to-press keys. The unit also comes equipped with Canon’s PIXMA Cloud Link, which gives them access to Canon’s Cloud Server.
• PIXMA MX517 and MX377 – These two great printers offer wireless connectivity to mobile devices in addition to an ADF and Dual Function Panel. They also come bundled with an Easy-WebPrint EX software, which makes it infinitely easier to print from the web.
• FAX-L170 – The L170 was the only laser printer launched today, boasting a compact demeanor but yet still manages to churn out a whopping 18 pages per minute for A4 documents and has a fast First Printout Time (FPOT) of only 7.8 seconds.
