Canon Launches Five New Large Format Printers

Canon has launched its new imagePROGRAF (iPF) series, specifically five large format multifunction printers (MFP) that offer users effective and fast large format scanning, copying and printing. The new printers that were release include: iPF750, iPF760, iPF765, iPF815 and iPF825.

“Designed for both technical and general purpose document management, these versatile imagePROGRAF large format MFP solutions address the diverse needs of applications ranging from technical computer-aided design (CAD) and geographic information systems (GIS) documents to marketing collaterals, classroom materials and learning aids...Offering a complete scan-to-copy, -file, -email and print solution, the imagePROGRAF MFP imaging solutions deliver greater efficiency and productivity to a wide variety of businesses and organizations. Architects, project managers and engineers for example can easily edit, scan and send CAD drawings in the office or even at remote field locations. Users can also easily scan and share technical drawings with handwritten annotations with relevant parties,” said Ooi Chik Hoe, Assistant Director, Business Imaging Solution of Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

These printers offer a fast, high quality printing solution, thanks to its 4pl ink droplet for high image clarity, detail and resolution of 2,400 x 1,200 dots-per-inches (dpi). The printers also features Canon's SmartWorks MFP software that can increase the workflow efficiency by allowing both individual and batch scanning of documents in JPG, TIFF or PDF file formats. In addition to that, it can also be equipped with up to 250GB of storage, allowing users to scan, share and save their files via network and email.
