BlackBerry Mobile Fusion Secures Mobile Devices Within Companies
Research In Motion (RIM) has announced the availability of BlackBerry Mobile Fusion (BBMF), a next generation mobile device management solution for enterprise customers. The BBMF provides customers with a cost-efficient, reliable, scalable and secure solution that consolidates the management of smartphones and tablets using the BlackBerry OS, as well as iOS and Android operating systems, to provide a single, unified web-based console to easily manage all devices.

“For businesses and government, managing a mix of mobile devices on any scale is chaotic. Organizations face pressures to allow employees to bring their own devices into the workplace, and they are looking to RIM as the leader in the enterprise mobility space to solve that problem... BlackBerry Mobile Fusion allows organizations to manage a mixed environment of devices in the most secure, simple and cost efficient manner possible. It also means that businesses and government do not have to move to the lowest common denominator on security for all the devices they need to manage,” Annamalai Muthu, Director for Malaysia, Research In Motion.
Among the features that BBMF provides users includes advanced IT management, enforceable IT policies and the support for BlackBerry Balance technology, just to name a few. Companies that extensively use BlackBerry smartphones today can rely on BBMF to improve their security infrastructure and have flexible options for individually liable devices to keep costs to a minimum. BBMF is available as a free download and is priced based on the number of devices being managed by the company.
