Acer Unveils Jaw-Dropping New Ultrabooks, Tablets & All-In-One

Every time we are invited to a product launch in the Sunway Resort & Spa, we know that we'll be in for a good time (and we don't mean just the food). Yesterday was no different, as we joined Acer in the Grand Ballroom of the luxurious hotel for the launch of its latest and highly anticipated Windows 8 devices.

We got to see some of these devices in June during COMPUTEX Taipei 2012 and once more during a sneak preview the month before. At both these events, we were highly impressed with so many aspects of these devices. But seeing them again yesterday makes us feel like falling in love all over again as we remember just how beautifully designed and versatile they are.

From L-R: Jerry Soon, Head of Consumer Desktop & Peripherals, Acer Sales & Services; Amrita Sapre, Windows Product Group Manager, Microsoft (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd; Sunny Ooi, Director Channels Group Director, Microsoft Malaysia; David Lee, Associate Vice President of Mobile Computing BU, Acer Inc; Ricky Tan, General Manager of Acer Sales & Services Sdn Bhd; Prakash Mallya, Country Manager of Intel Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd; and Johson Seet, Head of Mobile Notebook & Smart Handheld of Acer Sales & Services Sdn Bhd posing with the new Acer Windows 8 devices

The main highlights of yesterday's launch were the super svelte and sexy Aspire S7-391 and S7-191; multifaceted ICONIA W510 and W700 and Aspire 7600U-7363WBD and 5600U-5321W8D. All these devices are designed to provide modern day explorers with transformational user-experiences and options to fit different needs. Except the AIOs, the new Aspire S7 Ultrabooks and ICONIA W Series tablets are great for road warriors who need to go from working in an office to working on-the-go.

David Lee was like a proud father who couldn't stop praising the abilities of his children. In this case, his children being the new Acer Aspire S7, Iconia W Series Tablets and Aspire U Series AIOs.

“Acer Malaysia is thrilled to announce the arrival of the highly anticipated Acer Aspire S7 in Malaysia,” said Ricky Tan, General Manager of Acer Sales & Services Sdn Bhd. “Since making its debut earlier this year at COMPUTEX 2012 in Taipei, the Acer Aspire S7 has been making headlines worldwide as the thinnest touch-enabled Ultrabook.
