U Mobile Prepaid SIMs Now Sold at Giant, Cold Storage, and Mercato

U Mobile Sdn Bhd announced yesterday that it has entered a partnership with GHC Retail Sdn Bhd, expanding U Mobile’s distribution channels to more than 22,000 outlets nationwide. The partnership will allow U Mobile to sell their prepaid SIM packs in 151 retail outlets including Giant retail outlets, Cold Storage, and Mercato supermarkets throughout Malaysia by end of this year.

Currently, U Mobile prepaid SIM packs are available at 20 outlets within the Klang Valley. This partnership also marks a milestone for the company, making U Mobile the first telco operators in the region to offer prepaid SIM packs in Giant Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, and Superstores nationwide.

In addition to being available at Giant retail outlets, Cold Storage and Mercato supermarkets, U Mobile prepaid SIM packs are also available at other distribution channels such as Singer, 7-Eleven, Cosway and LH Sales & Marketing.

Jaffa Sany Ariffin, CEO of U Mobile commented on this partnership, saying “This collaboration is in line with our company’s three-pronged strategy, which is to establish a quality, robust network infrastructure, strengthen the brand through innovative product offerings, and widen our distribution network.”
