Transcend's New SSD500 Adopts SLC Technology

Transcend recently launched its new SSD500 SLC-based solid state drive (SSD). The new SSDs adopt the use of single-level cell (SLC) technology that boasts lightning-fast transfer speed and high cell endurance.
In addition to enhanced performance, SLC flash memory offers more than 10 times the write endurance of MLC-based SSDs, providing around 100,000 erase/write cycles for long-term use.
Transcend 2.5-inch Solid State Drives are backed by a three-year warranty and incorporate innovative tamper-resistant features to guarantee authenticity. The new SSDs are available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, with both standard and industrial versions offered.
