Transcend Releases microSDHC Card Designed For the Most Demanding Environments

Transcend has recently launched its latest industrial memory solution – an advanced microSDHC card that offers wide operating temperatures and excellent long-life stability. These new cards are known as Class 10i and are made of high-quality MLC NAND flash chips and are ideal for compact non-stop applications that are exposed to extreme operating environments daily.

These cards are much smaller compared to the standard SD card, but they offer higher design flexibility and cost savings. Despite its size, the microSDHC cards have excellent temperature flexibility and can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. There are also shock and vibration resistance, with low power consumption that helps to bring the performance and reliability advantages of industrial memory cards to small form factor devices. This superb compatibility and durability also makes these new Class 10i memory cards perfect for use in any industry-standard microSDHC equipped devices.

To ensure the utmost level of quality, all Transcend industrial-grade products go through an extensive reliability testing in all stages of production. Besides the reliable and high-performance MLC NAND flash chips, these memory cards also feature a built-in Error Correction Code (ECC) that monitors the data that gets transferred in and out of memory and corrects any errors found. These features help decrease the risk of computational errors during complex tasks, while also increases overall system reliability.
