If you have been looking around for a small camcorder for filming action or sports, chances are you would have come across GoPro. One of the most popular wearable action camera brands, it seems GoPro will soon have another major competitor. Sony has revealed a new action camera on its blog, and the unnamed camera will be sporting an Exmor R CMOS image sensor as well as an ultra-wide angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. Sony has also promised ruggedized and waterproof housings for the camera, but alas no further details were revealed so stay tuned for more details.
