Samsung Introduces Smarter IT Products

Samsung Malaysia Electronics has unveiled its latest and possibly most alluring offerings in the IT arena. A fleet of notebooks and two state-of-the-art monitors were launched at an event in KL’s IT hub, Plaza Low Yat.

Speaking at the event, Yu Jai Sul, Managing Director, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd said, “Since the beginning of the mobile computing era, the industry has leveraged on the expertise of Samsung, with a large number of parts in any given notebook or netbook containing an array of Samsung components. Taking this into consideration, it is easy to understand why Samsung is recognized as a global leader in convergent technologies. It is also easy to see that it is a natural evolution for us to take our award winning R&D and channel that power into IT solutions.”

The launch marked the introduction of a host of new notebooks and netbooks in the Malaysian market, the flagship for which is the ‘Series 9’ notebook. The Series 9 notebook proves that form and function can exist in the same space as innovation and performance. The ultra-light design, inspired by the natural lines of a gently folded piece of paper, weighs in at only 1.31kg.

The new range of monitors, featuring the 3D LED Monitor as the flagship monitor, pushes the boundaries of convergence technology, incorporating sleek and stylish new designs with a host of innovative solutions, such as the highly anticipated real-time 2D-to-3D conversion technology.

Samsung also introduced its ML-1860 monochrome laser printer, the smallest unit designed for greater convenience with an ultra-compact design with clever built-in features.
