M4700 and M6700 Join Dell Precision Lineup

Dell today announced the next-generation Dell Precision mobile workstations that have been designed for engineering and design professionals who need powerful performance wherever they are. Professionals such as film editors, architects and geophysicists are those who would benefit most from this new lineup.
The lineup is being refreshed with several new models, including the Dell Precision M4700 and M6700. The M4700 is currently Dell’s most powerful 15-inch mobile workstation, while the M6700 is Dell’s best 17-inch mobile workstation. For those who want something unique, the M6700 will be available as the Covet Edition, with a Phoenix Red color finish and edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
Both the M4700 and M6700 will make use of the latest 3rd generation Intel Core processors with a choice of NVIDIA Quadro K-Series GPUs and AMD FirePro graphics. Dell provides up to 32GB of 1600MHz RAM or 16GB of 1866MHz memory, with the option to add an optional SATA 3Gb/s 512GB SSD.
For maximum performance, these mobile workstations allow for RAID 0/1/5 configurations, with a maximum of 1.8TB of storage space for the M4700, and 2.8TB for the M6700. When it comes to connectivity, the M4700 and M6700 offer two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and one eSATA/USB combo port. There’s also one VGA, one HDMI and one DispayPort 1.2.
All Dell Precision workstations are ISV certified for compatibility with applications from vendors such as Ansys, Autodesk, Adobe, Grassvalley, Sony, Dynamic Graphics, and many others. The Dell Precision M4700 has a starting price of RM6,300, while the Dell Precision M6700 starts at RM8,100.
