LG's HX906TX Brings 3D Cinema to the Home

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – LG Electronics has just announced that its latest HX906TX CINEMA 3D Sound HTS will bring a 360-degree audio experience to the home.

In addition to the usual 5.1-channel speakers on conventional home theater systems, the new HX906TX adds four Upright 3D Speakers, bringing the total to 10 speakers in a 9.1-channel configuration.

These unique Upright 3D Speakers also further enriches the consumer’s experience by pumping audio waves upwards, filling the vertical space with sound. Also, the 360-degree reflector in each of the Upright speaker units reflects the audio, creating rich acoustics equivalent to those found in a concert hall.

By utilizing the LG exclusive Sound Field Expansion technology, the ‘sweet spot’ of the audio experience is widened so even in larger groups, everyone receives the optimum sound experience.

The HX906TX is capable of supporting Blu-ray 3D playback in full 1080p and even produces clear 12-bit, 4,096-step gradation images.

As an added bonus, the home theater system also comes packed with Smart TV functions and through an application, most Android or iPhone devices can be turned into a comprehensive remote.

The new HX906TX will be available by the end of November 2011 and will be retailing with a RRP of RM2,599.
