Google Delivers SEO Tips for Startups in 10 Minutes
Starting a new business means having to manage your funds in the most concise manner possible. Having a powerful web presence also ranks pretty high up on the things that you have to do. But that doesn't mean you have to spend truckloads of cash to get other people to perform your search engine optimization (SEO) for you. In fact, Google also thinks that you can do it yourself too, hence the video "SEO for startups in under 10 minutes".
The video highlights the most crucial points to look out for when optimizing your online branding, ranging from picking the best keywords, to using analytics code. The Googler in the video, Maile Ohye, developer advocate in Google's Webmaster Central Team also pointed out that startups should avoid SEO providers that guarantee rankings because they are often "too good to be true," she said.
Ohye also added some social media advice for start-ups, who are pondering whether or not to spend what little money they have on social media marketing. According to Mashable, Google has been very transparent about how Google search works, and this could only mean well for businesses who depend heavily on search engines.
