Epson's Live the Dream Event Sees Launch of 12 New Projectors
Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur – Epson yesterday launched 12 new projectors that cater to various form of industries including the education, businesses, and home users. Dubbed as the Live The Dream event, it was part of Epson’s largest-ever projector launch in Southeast Asia.
The event was attended by Eiji Ide, Managing Director of Epson Singapore Pte Ltd; Yasuhiro Kasai, Country Manager of Epson Malaysia; Danny Lee, General Manager of Sales and Marketing Division, Epson Malaysia; and Jennifer Low, Product Manager for Visual Instrument Product Group of Epson Malaysia. Eiji Ide kicked off the event by giving a brief history on Epson projectors and ended with a demonstration of some of the projectors that were launched.

The Epson EB-S/X/W series projectors are entry-level projectors with brightness ratings of up to 3,000 lumens, as well as HDMI, RS232C and USB connectivity on selected models. The Epson EB-435W, on the other hand, is a short throw projector that is designed for the education industry. It has integrated 10W speakers and can play audio via wireless streaming. Both the Epson EH-TW8000 and EH-TW6000 are 3D projectors with a refresh rate of 480Hz, making them two of the world’s brightest 3D projectors. Lastly, the Epson MG-850HD is the world’s first Apple iDevice projector. Compatible with most iDevices including iPods and iPads, this projector is able to play back photos, videos and even music from the docked iDevice.
