Epson Launches 7 New Printers That Offer Speed, Performance and Efficiency

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Epson has formally launched seven new printers today, including the Epson ME Office 535, Epson K-series and Epson Workforce Pro series for the home to SME-level consumers.

Epson ME Office 535

Nicknamed 'small-in-one', the new Epson ME Office 535 printer is hailed as the world’s smallest all-in-one printer*, measuring in at only 390 x 300 x 145mm in dimensions. The unit is also specifically designed to provide users with an incredibly high performance printer with a surprisingly low running cost, offering RM0.10/page for monochrome and RM0.16/page for color prints**.

Epson K-Series

There are three printers in the K-Series: the K100, K200 and K300. These offerings represent Epson’s return to the monochrome inkjet printer market after a long 15-year absence. The reason for their re-entry into the market was due to the high consumer demand for high performance and low cost monochrome printing.

Ranging from single function to all-in-one with automatic document feeders, the new K-Series offer an incredibly low printing cost of RM0.03/page** and even duplex printing capabilities that laser printers can’t offer.

Epson WorkForce Pro Series

The Pro 4011, Pro 4511, and Pro 4521 make up the WorkForce Pro Series, which is tailored for SMEs. These three models mark the unveiling of a new brand series of business color inkjet printers for Epson.

In addition to incredible printing speed of 16ppm for B&W printing and 11ppm for color prints, these models also boast the fastest duplex printing speeds in its class (9.2ppm for black and 7.1ppm for color), according to the ISO 24734 standard.

“Last year, Epson committed to grow our business printing market by lowering the cost of printing for our customers through printer models with extremely low cost per page,” said Danny Lee, General Manager of Sales & Marketing Division of Epson Malaysia. “This year, we reinforce that commitment by expanding our low running cost models to offer even more capabilities – from space savings, to even lower cost per page for monochrome and color document printing. We are confident that no matter what our customers’ business printing needs are, there is now a perfect Epson inkjet for them to reduce their running costs.”

In addition to these features, Epson also revealed that they have released an iPrint application for Apple iOS devices, which allows for wireless printing from mobile devices. Also, they reported that an Android version will soon be announced.
