CES 2017: Razer brings Chroma lighting to your room with Project Ariana
Apart from a gaming notebook with three screens, Razer also unveiled a high-definition video projector during CES 2017, called Project Ariana.
Project Ariana isn’t any ordinary video projector, though. Razer says Project Ariana is designed to provide “total gaming immersion” by projecting your gameplay, lights, and other in-game effects, onto the wall of your room.
It does so with the help of its ultra-wide fish eye lens, and two 3D-sensing cameras that can automatically detect and compensate for the various objects that might be strewn across your room. Such as furniture, for example.
When you’re not gaming, you can use Project Ariana as a conventional high-definition projector instead.
“Project Ariana is a concept design that showcases the power and potential of the Razer Chroma platform in the pre-VR world in bridging the gap between gamers and games,” said Min-Liang Tan, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Razer.
