Canon unveils the 20.1MP PowerShot G9 X Mark II
Canon has launched its latest prosumer compact camera, the PowerShot G9 X Mark II.
If you were to dig into the details, you’ll notice that the G9 X Mark II isn’t all that different from its predecessor, the G9 X. They both share the same 3-inch LCD touchscreen, an aperture range of f/2.0 to f/4.9 at its widest, a focal length of 28 - 84mm (35mm equivalent), and 1080p60 video recording capabilities.
The biggest difference comes in the form of its fancy new DIGIC 7 image processor, which provides continuous shooting speeds of up to 8.2 fps in both RAW and JPEG, and an autofocus speed of 0.14 seconds. The G9 X Mark II also features Dual Sensing Image Stabilization technology, which offers up to 3.5-stops of image stabilization.
The G9 X Mark II is available in colors of Black or Silver, and is slated to begin shipping in the U.S. in February for US$529 (~RM2,373).
Local availability and pricing has yet to be confirmed.
