Apple's Market Value Climbs Past US$623 Billion

With its new stock prices, Apple's dominance of the tech industry has become indisputable. The company is now valued at a grand total of US$623 billion in the US which surpassed the previous high of US$618.9 billion valuation set by Microsoft on 30th December 1999.
A total of around US$300 million has been added by Apple to their market cap over the last year. To put that in perspective, Microsoft has only added They are followed by Google and then by Exxon the rankings for the most valuable companies at present.
Now we wait and see if Apple can break the US$1 trillion market cap. With the rumored iPad mini and iPhone 5 to be launched soon, they might actually have a shot at accomplishing this feat.
