Sony has announced a new high zoom Cyber-shot camera with integrated Wi-Fi and GPS Log Recording capabilities, a new handheld projector Handycam with enhanced durability for those who love to travel, as well as the successor to the 3D digital recording binoculars that Sony had launched in 2011.
Panasonic has announced the brand new LUMIX DMC-LF1 advanced compact camera, the first in the LF line and a sister series of the LX line of cameras. The LF1 comes with an f/2 Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens and a large 1/1.7-inch 12MP MOS sensor with built-in Wi-Fi.
As the successor to the mirrorless G5 camera, the new LUMIX G6 comes with a 16MP Live MOS sensor and a new Venus Engine, which promises high resolution with even lower image noise. Panasonic has also announced a new LUMIX G 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 lens with Power O.I.S.

There is a rumor out there that FUJIFILM may release a new entry-level X-Series mirrorless interchangeable lens camera that comes packed with a 2/3-inch X-Trans sensor that is heaps smaller than the current lineup, which uses APS-C sized sensors.

The widest aperture a zoom lens could achieve was f/2.8. Not anymore, as Sigma has announced its 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art lens, which features a maximum wide aperture of f/1.8 throughout its entire zoom range.
