Kingmax Introduces More Memory Speed

Breaking the Speed Barrier

Showcasing a large number of memory and storage products at COMPUTEX 2011, Kingmax has also announced several new products that allows users to enjoy the benefits of high-speed connectivity and large storage capacity. Kingmax has once again showcased its small packaging and manufacturing capabilities with the latest 8GB dual-channel DDR3 2400MHz Nano Gaming RAM. A single DIMM with 8GB in capacity, it is the fastest overclock-capable module without a heatsink, thanks to a cooling efficiency of 10% even when pushed above its normal speed. Offering a CAS latency of 10-11-10-30, it is capable of a bandwidth of up to 19.2GB/s and even comes with lifetime warranty.

Compatible with the Secure Digital Association’s (SDA) widely used Secure Digital (SD) format, the Kingmax Waterproof SDXC Class 10 Memory Card exhibits a massive 64GB storage capacity, with specifications of 65 MB/s read speed and 40 MB/s write speed. Kingmax's memory card lineup include SD 3.01 specifications, which add a new UHS-I (Ultra High Speed Bus I) interface structure that will enable transfer speeds of up to 104MB/s.

Adopting the USB 3.0 UFD Single Chip controller, the ED-01 USB 3.0 Flash Drive is more stable and backward-compatible with USB 2.0. Moreover, using full-duplex bidirectional synchronization data transfer technology, the ED-01 read speed at 66 MB/s and write speed at up to 41 MB/s. Whether it is HD movies, photos or large files with rich media content, it will complete data transfers in an extremely short period of time. It has a unique design that prevents the cap from accidental drop-offs or loss. By attaching the cap onto the tail end, you’ll never have to worry about losing it. Additionally, the read/write LED indicator alerts users of the flash drive’s status while in use.

The world's largest capacity microSDXC card was also announced at the show, with the arrival of this 64GB model. Not only does it have a fast transfer rate with a rating of Class 6, it also comes with a special wear-leveling algorithm that allocates all information into different areas of the memory card and helps to maximize product lifetime. It's compact size allows users to enjoy the convenience of storing large amounts of data with them without worrying about size and it makes entertainment on the go possible.

Also announced is the latest SSD, which allows users to enjoy expanded storage capacities up to 512GB. Kingmax's 2.5" drives are now available with SATA III connectivity, allowing for an extremely fast 415 MB/s read and a write speed of up to 260 MB/s which significantly shortens boot time while reducing file transfer times. It also supports the Windows 7 TRIM command, which optimizes write performance and has built-in ECC and Global Wear Leveling function for better performance, higher stability and higher product life.
